ZINNIA escaped imminent danger.

And was likely 1 of 2 ten day old kittens scooped up by a feral cat caretaker, and placed with a Mama cat and her 2 kittens.

ZINNIA is 3 months old now & waiting patiently to be discovered at Petsmart Huntington.

Now to explain more clearly: Do you remember MARIGOLD? If not-

MARIGOLD has a HEART of GOLD.

This Beautiful 1 yr old dark calico was abandoned at a cat colony with her kittens. Not only did she nurse her babies, but MARIGOLD adopted 2 additional kittens too.

Friendly MARIGOLD resided with 70+ cats in a Centereach feral colony on steeply sloping ground. The caretaker had notified Jenny (an experienced trapper) that MARIGOLD had her 2 kittens on straw under the hood of a truck on the feral property.

Jenny didn’t need to trap MARIGOLD because this lovely dark calico walked right up to Jenny so she could pick her up, and then gather her 2 babies.

Several days later a bad storm flooded the cat colony. Another Mama cat did drown, and her orphan kittens were given to MARIGOLD as 2 more mouths to feed.

Only lucky timing kept MARIGOLD & her truck hood kittens from being storm victims too . The feline family were nurtured in Last Hope foster care with Kathy K.

ZINNIA is probably 1 of these 2 added kittens because she least resembles MARIGOLD…

..MARIGOLD has been adopted; now her babies including ZINNIA are waiting at Petsmart Huntington-take a Peek at Petsmart & then put in an online application on the Last Hope website homepage. ZINNIA has her bags packed & is ready to go.
