Hello there!  I’m Amaretto, a handsome (as you can see) white guy with some orange spots on my head and a spiffy orange tabby tail.  Not to sound conceited, but my volunteer friends here at PetSmart, Huntington Station agree that I’m very unique-looking and a super-nice kitty as well.  I’m so happy to be here, secure and in good care, as I’ve experienced the tragedy of being abandoned outside when my owner moved.  (He had me in his home for most of my life – a little over a year – then dumped me when he moved on.)  Happily, I was rescued by a neighbor, then I got into the Last Hope program, where I was fostered for a short time while my medicals were done.  Now I’m here, hoping so much that I’ll find a forever home this time!   I do love people, but I would prefer to be the only cat in the household, where I could concentrate on being a loving companion to my human friends.  If you’re looking for a great cat like me, please stop by soon!  I’m looking forward to meeting you!
