Meet the “Big Boys from Brookhaven”:

“Blacky” & “Bandit” were a special duo delivery by Brookhaven Town Shelter volunteers right to the Last Hope doorstep.
In July, the “Big Boys” were seized by the police because they were living in a bad situation and their former owner was hospitalized. Seems it was some sort of hoarder predicament but not an animal hoarder case.

“Blacky” is a Lab mix with a curled tail while “Bandit” is a Shepherd mix with floppy ears. We are not placing them together, but some of us have a hunch they may be littermates.
