“Blue” came to Last Hope (already named) from a crowded Virginia shelter. Can’t fathom where his name came from. He’s a very handsome Treeing Walker Coonhound puppy, somewhere between 6 and 8 months old, with long “Houndy” ears and a stunning tri-colored coat. His face is almost deer-like, as if he’s a baby Bambi.

Blue is a tiny bit shy at first, and then basks in the attention he is getting from the many Last Hope volunteers. He is 36 pounds right now but still has some growing to do before he becomes Mr. Magnificent, just like Bambi’s father.
