Bet you didn’t know that “Brooklyn” was right next door to Last Hope in Wantagh. No, she is not a borough, and this adoption plea is not a distorted geography lesson.
Our “Brooklyn” is a petite Pit who came from Hempstead Town Shelter right next door to Last Hope. This sweetie is a year old and 41 pounds. She had been an owner surrender along with a small Terrier (who was adopted quickly at the town shelter).
Poor “Brooklyn” then became one of over 100 Pits and Pit mixes at the shelter, all in competition with each other for responsible, loving homes.
Now at Last Hope’s smaller setting, she stands a much better chance of being noticed by someone nice. Might that someone be you?
I've found my forever home! Thank you!
