“Charlie” can be charming. After all, he’s tall, dark and handsome. He’s about 2 years old and over 60 pounds. This leggy Pit mix came to Last Hope after being at Babylon Animal Shelter where he was picked up as a Lindenhurst stray. He spent 9 months at Babylon where Uncle Marty, an incredible shelter volunteer, worked with him daily. “Charlie” knows how to walk on a leash nicely and some basic commands- some hand signals too. He played submissively with another Pit at the shelter.
Uncle Marty also mentored 2 other Babylon Shelter/Last Hope Pit alumni- “Drake” who spent over 3 years at Babylon Shelter before coming to Last Hope and “Charlie’s” clone & former kennel mate “Jake”. Both have loving families now. “Charlie” would like to be so fortunate too. He is looking for a home without small children because of his size and strength.
I've found my forever home! Thank you!
