Clover – ADOPTED – 9.3.2013

ClovercontrastBack in March of 2013 we reported that Clover had been living in a feral cat colony at an apartment complex in Nassau County. Just before a blizzard hit Long Island, Clover became locked in an underground utility shaft and was unable to get out. The heavy snow muffled her desperate cries for help. It was only after two and a half weeks, during which time she had no food or water, that her cries were heard and she was rescued. We immediately found that she had severely injured her paw during her attempts to escape. We thought the injury was so bad that her leg would need to be amputated. Luckily, that wasn’t the case…though she did lose a few toes but is none the worse for wear.  (On the other paw, Clover actually has extra toes, making her a polydactyl cat).

Even though Clover experienced so much – she has come so far – Check out her before and after. She is incredibly sweet, loves being pet, and will climb right in your lap for some love if you’ll let her.  Clover’s estimated date of birth is August 2010 which makes her a young adult.  Who will have room in their heart and home for sweet, sweet Clover??  Please SHARE so she can find the Forever Home she so deserves!
