Hi, I’m Cowan I am an 8-9 month – VERY MELLOW LAP KITTEN!
Here is my story ….
I was left in a carrier next to a dumpster in an apartment complex. One of the tenants was throwing out the garbage and heard me meowing – and immediately took me in the carrier to the local shelter. I was only a few months old at that time.
The local shelter tested me and neutered me….and there I sat for several months – wasting my young kittenhood by myself in a cage – without toys and waiting everyday for volunteers to pet me. The shelters get so overcrowded – especially in the summer with all the baby kittens — and I was getting overlooked by potential adopters and rescue groups.
Finally, when Last Hope had cage space – they came and rescued me – and hugged me and let me play with other kittens – and I became best buddies with many of them. I love to cuddle too. Last Hope took care of the rest of my medical needs for a young kitten – all vaccines and worming too.
So, now I am ready here – ready for adoption – and hoping that everyone that passes this cage and stops and looks will see how sweet I am, and I supposed handsome too – and will take me into their home and love me and let me love them back. I hope I don’t have to sit here for the holidays – I would love to welcome in 2012 with my family in our warm home.
Do you have room in your heart and home for me? I really need to run and play and be a kitten and feel secure and loved too….I promise you won’t be disappointed.
