“Cub” came to Last Hope along with other transport dogs from Virginia. He was a transfer from a shelter near our Virginia rescue partner -Amherst Humane. He needed a change of luck. “Cub” has been in several homes and wound up back in the shelter system through no fault of his own. He is a 2 1/2 year old Shepherd mix with a blocky head similar to a Chow or Akita, weighing about 60 pounds. “Cub” is housebroken, knows “SIT” & “SHAKE”, and also walks well on a leash.
