“Daffy” an older Treeing Walker Coonhound has had a rough life, so much so that the shelter director herself at the Kentucky shelter took “Daffy” home as a foster.(“Daffy’s front teeth are worn down; she looks like she has had multiple litters; her elbows have pressure sores from lying on hard surfaces, she needs antibiotics for erlichiosis, a tick disease)….yet the director/foster Mom found out lots of good news:
“Daffy” is well-behaved and gets along quite well with kids, cats and other dogs. She’s about 7 years old – it is hard to pinpoint when a dog has had a hard life. “Daffy” is now at Last Hope and we want her cushy, happily ever after life to begin ASAP.
I've found my forever home! Thank you!
