Hi, Hi!!! My name is Dixie – cute right??? I am a longer haired Dachshund/Chihuahua Mix who came to Last Hope recently from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky with my daughter, Trixie who is short haired. We are hoping for a better life with a family that will love and cherish us. Truly, we want nothing more than to sit in your lap and snuggle.  While we can be adopted separately, wouldn’t it be terrific if we could go together??? Maybe you have a heart big enough for us both!!
