ELI is a Plott mix with a gunshot wound to his face. Luckily he was found by a Good Samaritan, and taken to Last Hope’s rescue partner-Amherst Humane in Virginia.

Their VA vet determined ELI has a hairline fracture to his jaw but horizontally so it will heal on its own with soft food & antibiotics.

The Amherst shelter staff adored him. He is gentle and doesn’t bark just whines sometimes for attention. ELI is dog & cat friendly. He did a happy bunny hop to approach the dog when dog tested.

ELI is underweight at 40 lbs, about 3 years old.

He deserves a wonderful HOME where he is loved and protected from harm.
