Flanagan comes to Last Hope in Wantagh as an injured stray from Babylon Town Shelter. He was picked after presumably being hit by a car. Babylon Shelter sent him immediately to the emergency hospital where he had hip surgery (FHO) by an orthopedic specialist on 11/6. In this procedure the ball that fits into the hip socket is removing.

He came to Last Hope shortly after because we have more volunteers (over 200) and fewer dogs so it would be easier for Flanagan to get the PT and follow up that he needs. He had manipulation therapy and is now getting sessions at the physical therapist including working on the underwater treadmill. He is doing well and his exercise has less restrictions. It is time for this sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet boy to go to a home.
