HI! My name is Foster – I am a 2 yr old “terrier” mix – and I LOVE everyone I meet. I’ve had a sad life – I was picked up by the ASPCA in New York, severely emaciated at 39lbs, and could hardly stand. Everyone was amazed how friendly I was with scars on my back legs & being so weak my spirit was still high! They nursed me back to health and got my weight up to 65lbs.

They adopted me out to a family that after 6 months later dumped me in Deer Park because they had to move & the apartment would not take pets. My foster mommies found me behind a building with no shelter and very little food, but my tail was still wagging.

I am housebroken, and just love long walks, I do listen to commands and with a stern voice & warm loving family, I can be a very good boy. I get along well with other dogs but not so keen on cats. I am very lovable and will try to sit in your lap if you’ll let me. Please give me a chance, & I will love you FOREVER, and be your bestest friend – I promise!
