Foster a Cat or
Kitten

Apply to Foster

Provide a temporary loving home and family for cats in need

The foster parent is responsible for caring for the cat or kitten until it is physically and socially ready to be adopted into a permanent home. In addition to routine food, shelter, care and attention, in many cases you will even get to name the cat/kitten(s) that you foster.

To contribute to saving the life of a cat is a rewarding feeling. Although many underage cats are able to be raised and socialized by people and grow to be happy, healthy pets, know this is not always the case. Be certain you are able to cope with the expected challenges of fostering.

Our Foster Coordinator will provide support and assistance throughout the process and will assist with any medical concerns, scheduling for necessary medical care and finally arranging for the cat/kitten(s) to be brought into an adoption cage until a permanent home is found.

So the question is…Is fostering for me?

If the answer to the question is YES – Please fill out our online form. If you have further questions, please email us at foster@lasthopeanimalrescue.org.
