“What Happened to Me Today?”
asked FRANKLIN.
“I didn’t get breakfast. Instead, I was taken for a ride to a strange place where they gave me something to make me sleep all day.
When I woke up, I was a little cold & very hungry. These strangers were nice. They warmed me up & gave me some food. Boy, was I famished.
On the drive back to my foster home, I got the feeling something was missing. I didn’t feel all there. Some part of me is gone…not sure what part or why. I am a little bit sore..but I am glad that adventure is over.
I keep hearing the word “adoption “. Wonder if that is what happened to me today.
Was today my “adoption “? Wonder what that means..Overheard I’d be ready for adoption soon. Oh, no. .not again!
Could you enlighten me? What happened to me today? What’s an adoption? Is it good or bad? Thanks,sorry for so many questions..I’m only 3 months…So much to learn in this big , wide world…”
