GOLIATH is a Golden Retriever painted like a Leonberger.
He was surrendered at Oyster Bay Town Shelter because his owner was moving to a rental.
GOLIATH is 3 years but acts like a 9 month old puppy. He is high energy & enthusiastic, but he DOES know hand signals – SIT, DOWN, STAY.
He gives both paws…on request.
GOLIATH likes kids but will jump up. He is patient while being groomed. And very food motivated.
GOLIATH needs a dog savvy home without cats. He also would benefit more socialization with other dogs. He wants to play but he is very excited when he first sees a dog approaching.
In the right hands, GOLIATH has the potential to be a magnificent dog. Last Hope is looking for “those right hands” for GOLIATH.
