? Please Harbor HARBOR in Your Foster-to-Adopt HOME.?
HARBOR needs to undergo heartworm treatment which is easier on a dog if he’s in a quiet home during immiticide injections & recovery instead of in a shelter or kennel.
This gentle Terrier mix had entered a crowded Georgia shelter in early Dec. He tested heartworm negative there, but not when retested at Last Hope.
He has a sad background according to his GA sending shelter :
Harbor was surrendered to city animal control with another adult dog and 2 pups.
The owner had reached out to the shelter asking for help because the dogs were living in horrible conditions and city AC went out to get them.
Harbor was a dog participant in the prison dog training program .He has come a long way. His confidence has boosted so much and he is now able to walk on a leash and loves to do the doggy tunnel. .
HARBOR is 2 yr old & a tiny bit shy but very sweet.
I've found my forever home! Thank you!
