Yes, it appears that I will be spending the entire first year of my life in a cage without a forever family – and celebrating my first birthday here – as my birthday is March 15, 2011…if I am still here that day – can you bring me some treats and celebrate with me???? Or maybe bring me a toy mouse or ball as a birthday gift?? I will be forever grateful.

My mom was dumped off at one of the Town Shelters when she was pregnant and I was born in the shelter. As soon as I was weaned off of her – I was separated and put in my own cage. They say I had a sibling or two – perhaps they got adopted. The records are so vague – and I know the shelter is always so busy – that I just sat there in a stainless steel cage without a bed or toys and limited contact until January, 2012 – when Last Hope rescued me.

I am a mush – certainly will be a lap cat. But in the meantime – I need to run and play and be a kitten. I do try to play in this cage with the toy balls and mice – but I throw them out of the cage and no one is there to throw them back.

I have a clean bill of health and all my kitten medical needs have been met – I was tested, wormed, vaccinated and neutered.

But what I need the most is YOU – I need a home, loving hands to pet me and play with me – and let me love back and just be happy and play and be part of your family. Do you have room for me in your heart and home? The kittens are coming in a few months – then I will get overlooked because they are just “too cute”.
