Hi – I am JAYNE– A 1 year young petite tabby with GORGEOUS GREEN EYES (so I am told)!
I am feminine and mellow – not that “in your face” kind of girl – I love petting and attention… I guess since I have never been that “in your face” kind of girl – it held me up from being adopted.
When I was born in Spring, 2011 – I was dumped with several of my siblings as baby kittens in a local park in a Rubbermaid container with several tiny holes punched in the top of it. There were a lot of people in the park – so someone heard us yelping for help – and rescued us.
One of the moms of one of the kids playing in the park took us into her home and figured she would foster us and get us adopted. She really did give us all a lot of love, but she didn’t realize how long that could take – so after most of the kittens were adopted – she just couldn’t do it any longer – so she brought the few remaining kittens (one was me) to the local Town Shelter. So there we were, among all the other cats and kittens and dogs in the shelter – crowded and unable to run around and play. Many others did get adopted – but I was shy and quiet and just observed – but it kept me from being “marketable”.
Well, Last Hope recently took me from the Shelter – and promised to keep me safe and as happy as possible until they get me a home. Kitten season is upon us again – so I am worried I will get passed up again.
I am very healthy – I have been tested, wormed, vaccinated and spayed – and am ready to go!
Can you put some magic and love into these green eyes and really make them sparkle??? I just hope I don’t get passed up for all those gorgeous little kittens that will be here within a few months. I was one of those little kittens a year ago – and I am still waiting for a home. What you see is what you get – my personality is wonderful and I can only get better with you. I am still a kitten – and would love to run and play and be your buddy – and love and be loved back.
So, am I going to be here for Easter and the best time of the year – I can sit in your window and watch the birds and butterflies and just enjoy the security of a home I with you and your family? I can leave paw prints on your heart – I promise you won’t be disappointed!
