JOY arrived at Last Hope & immediately began volunteering at the Dog Center. She stood up behind the desk to greet potential adopters. Next we’ll teach her to answer the phone.

We found out JOY already responds to SIT, PAW and DOWN..which is very good for a petite Dobie mix,a year or less, found as a stray at Stop & Shop in Amityville, but never claimed by an owner at Babylon Shelter.

Yes, JOY is a joy. She likes dogs & is very happy to see teenagers.(She didn’t see any young kids at Last Hope yet.)
