King, a reddish Shepherd/Lab with a Sharpei wrinkled forehead came to Last Hope from a shelter in Virginia where he was a favorite of the staff. He arrived with his mother – who was pregnant again at that time. She just delivered 10 puppies soon after. Thank goodness this will be her last litter because the Virginia shelter will spay her when she is done nursing.
Owners surrendered his mom “Diva”, “King” and his brother “Sparky”. Sparky was adopted locally. King is personality plus, plus. He is super social and dog friendly. King did well at Petco the day after coming to Last Hope. His mom was solid black and so was his brother…not sure where the red came into play! He is 8 months old, neutered and ready to go to a great home looking for a great dog.
