Well, the above may be Eric Clapton’s lyrical question, but it is also exactly the reason LAST HOPE chose LAYLA for last weekend’s Kentucky rescue transport.
We didn’t want this 7 yr old sweetheart Beagle mix to be lonely with no one waiting by her side.
LAST HOPE wants to see lovely LAYLA adopted by people who will put her up on a pup pedestal and treat her like gold…to make up for all the time no one considered her to be a precious member of the family.
Tonight while LAYLA was being walked by a volunteer, they stopped to talk to the volunteer walking DOROTHY the Mexican puppy. The dogs stayed calmly side by side as if they had known each other a long time.
To meet LAYLA by appointment at LAST HOPE in Wantagh, please complete and submit a dog adoption application found on the Last Hope website homepage.

I've found my forever home! Thank you!
