Little LUCA Needs Someone to LOVE Him….
Imagine being a 2 month old puppy from Texas & not having any takers?
That’s the story of this adorable fellow’s life thus far.
His time was up at a high kill Texas shelter. No one wanted LUCA.
Luckily he became a puppy passenger on an airlift transport coming to Long Island shelters.
LUCA has been at Last Hope since mid May. He and his puppy gal pal SHENZI are in iso in our lobby Meet n Greet room because they do not have enough puppy shots yet to mix with our other dogs & they are finishing medicine for kennel cough.
LUCA is a love bug, and he lets SHENZI boss him around. He can be a mellow fellow.
He must be a Shepherd/Lab/Mountain Goat mix because he climbs & jumps off the vari-kennels with ease.
LUCA is hoping someone nice shows interest in him, so he can join a happy household, possibly as a foster -to -adopt, as soon as our vet gives him clearance to leave.
