LUCAS was Lucky Once.We’re hoping he can be Lucky again.
Several weeks ago a man found a friendly 1 yr old tabby in Levittown.
He brought him to a Last Hope clinic at night to be scanned for a microchip in hopes the tabby had an owner.
As the man was getting out of his car, the frightened cat escaped somehow from the carrier, and vanished in the direction of the pet cemetery.
The cameras were set up. There were several sightings on the Hempstead Town Shelter trail.
Soon after John Debacker was able to catch him when the tabby went up to a house near the trail and the lady let LUCAS in.
LUCAS was not microchipped.
No one answered posters in his original Levittown neighborhood, so now LUCAS has joined the Last Hope Cat Adoption Program. He is at Petsmart Huntington.
We hope LUCAS will be Lucky once more, and chosen by someone who will keep him safe & secure forever more.
