“Lucy” & “Ethel” a canine comic duo are now stars at Last Hope, but they would really prefer to star together at your house.

“Lucy” the redhead Chihuahua and “Ethel” her BFF Doxie/Beagle mix sidekick were picked up together as strays in Amityville and remained unclaimed at Babylon Town Shelter. The dogs love each other and love everyone they meet. They surfaced neglected- flea-infested, hair loss and overgrown nails, even though they appear quite young. “Lucy” is about 3. She seemed to have milk from a false pregnancy before her spay. Her white face is deceiving, probably the original pigment. Her teeth are white and her knees wobbly for luxating patellas are common in toy breeds. However, “Lucy” can jump on and off furniture with ease. “Ethel” is so puppy-ish still. She is adorable. She is smart, already knows “Sit” and “Down”.

We are looking for someone wonderful who will shout: “I LOVE LUCY & ETHEL!” The girls use each other as pillows and confidantes…We would love for them to stay together…Some lucky person will be privileged to be adopting two tiny treasures.
