Marla – ADOPTED!

HI – Thank you for visiting me…today my name is MARLA – I am 5 years old.

Here is my story –

Over a year ago and for many more months to follow, my name was #873011 – yes that was my only identification in the municipal shelter.   I had no name.  I was left in a plastic tote box outside the shelter door – there was no reason why I was left there, no history – and not even my name.

What is my name?  Where did I come from? Do I have siblings? Did I do something not to be worthy of love?

No one knows any of these answers – but we do know that I am healthy, so unbelievably mushy and loving, and really, really need a loving family.

Last Hope rescued me from the shelter and gave me a real name and promised me I would be safe with them until I was adopted into a wonderful family.   They gave me so much love and took care of any preventative medical needs. I have a clean bill of health.   What I don’t have is a family and home.

But now it has been months, and I keep getting passed by.  Maybe I am not as beautiful as others, but I am mushy and loving.  Maybe those kittens are more adorable and appealing right now – but with me you know what you are getting.   Kitten season is quickly approaching – and here I sit worrying that I will be passed by without notice for many more months to come.

I prefer not to be with many other pets – and if there is another cat – I really prefer it to be a male.  He can be the King and I can be the Queen – I just seem to get along with male cats a bit better. I am so well behaved – is there any more room in your heart and home for me?

Can you be the one that gives me love and a family and home?  Would you consider me? Pet me and see how loving I am.  I am also a talker – I love to chat with you. You won’t be disappointed – I promise.

I will leave paw prints on your heart forever.

 MARLA
