MAXXY Deserves to be Loved to the MAX.
This sweet Hound mix ( 8-10 yr old) gives the appearance of a weather-beaten stray.
He has the “Johnny Cash-look”- a face & body’s that lived a tough life.
MAXXY had been at Hempstead Town Shelter for about a month. He was a staff favorite who became the office dog after he had several growths removed from his head & body.
Saturday MAXXY moved next door to Last Hope so our 250 volunteers can smother him with attention, and leave no stone unturned searching for MAXXY’s perfect, Loving, Retirement Home Sweet Home….a home without young children.
