NELLIE Needs YOU-or Someone as Nice as YOU-

In July, NELLIE a 2 year old Pit mix was found tied at an abandoned house where she was eating from garbage cans.

She spent several weeks at Hempstead Town Shelter before moving to Last Hope.

NELLIE is a sweetheart, but is timid at first. She loves to spend time with Last Hope volunteers in the Meet n Greet room.

She is making progress, and will do well with someone who will continue to show her that most people are kind.

This way NELLIE can leave her sad past behind.
