“Nelson” is a sad-sack Beagle about 7-8 years old. Originally a stray from Brookhaven Shelter, this fellow is seeking a home with someone who will shower him with TLC so he can see how wonderful life can be. He is sweet but nervous, and retreats when people walk by. He rarely approaches the front of the cage, and spends much of his time on his bed in the back of the run. It is uncertain whether he ever lived in a home or was used as part of a pack of hunting dogs, so Nelson may even do better in a home alongside another Beagle who will help him relax.
