OZZY- senior male Miniature Poodle-Adopted

OZZY is not from Oz. He’s a stray from Georgia.
Imagine being a tiny 12 year old Poodle stray running around & fending for yourself to survive in the fields, woods & on farms of rural Georgia.
That’s what senior OZZY had been doing until he was taken into a crowded Georgia shelter where he stood little chance of being adopted & leaving the shelter alive.
That was the fate awaiting OZZY until Letty, our dog coordinator stepped up to the plate & chose him for Last Hope last month.
For a short time, he did go as a Last Hope foster to a home with a senior dog OZZY’s size, but the placement didn’t work because the resident dog got depressed & didn’t want to share his space or peeps with another dog. Wasn’t anyone’s fault. But OZZY came back bewildered.
Now OZZY is looking for someone else who adores & appreciates wise, elderly Poodles with plenty of pep in their step…like OZZZZZZZY.
