“Peaches” is an outgoing and sociable Blue Tick Hound about 1 year old from Amherst County Shelter in VA…She is one of the many discarded hunting hounds left to fend for themselves in that part of the country..Here is what the VA shelter had to say about this sweet, sweet dog:

“Well this gal is stunning with personality plus which made her an instant hit with the staff. She loves people to come to her kennel – strangers are her favorites with her funny gestures and awesome markings. Unfortunately we never learn much about the hounds as they run loose in VA never to be reclaimed by their owners… in this case it will indeed be someone else’s fortune. She is very well-socialized and will easily fit into a new home environment. We named her Peaches because she really is a peach! She has a calm, fun personality and is well-behaved and easy to manage. She has been with us for about 2 months… like most hounds she came in underweight. She has pretty shades in her coat including marble spottings.”
