Hello! I am so pleased to meet you here and to have you read all about me! My name is Penelope, and I am a very sweet, beautifully-marked tabby girl with an estimated date of birth of August 2011.  (I’ll bet you’ve already noticed my dark and dramatic stripes.) I was found behind some stores in Plainview, all alone and so scared and hungry. Oh, that was my lucky day! My rescuer got me into the Last Hope program and soon I was taken to the home of my foster mom, who cared for me while I got my medical checkups and had a little time to relax and recuperate from my frightening experiences before I came here to be adopted.  I am very friendly and huggable and playful!!
