Petite Pit PEPPER made the symbolic trek from Hempstead Town Shelter (next door) to Last Hope. Hopefully her trek will open adoption doors for her. She is no longer 1 of over 100 Pitties.
She’s a 1 year old Pit who knows SIT & SHAKE. As a puppy, she was adopted with her litter mate from Hempstead Shelter, but PEPPER was returned. She’s sweet, a bit shy at first and looking for a permanent home. PEPPER is a sweetie. Poor Pepper is timid in the kennel but outgoing with her friends when out of her cage. She was a wonderful playmate with Bandit one of our Hounds who was recently adopted. Pepper really misses him.
