“Sassy” is a happy Lab mix wih stubby legs about 5 years old who comes to Last Hope as an owner surrender at a Amherst County Shelter in VA. Here is what the VA shelter had to say about this friendly, outgoing gal:
“She came into our shelter with a little Chihuahua named Peanut Butter. Sassy previously lived in a home with the Chi, a cat and a few young children. One of the children began having allergy problems and even with meds the allergies couldn’t be controlled. The 2 dogs and one cat were surrendered to us and after they left the family claimed they were going home to rip out all their carpet and start over to help their child… Sassy looks like a “mini” black Lab.
We took Sassy to an adoption festival and she quickly became renamed “the greeter”. Sassy is a social butteryfly that loves everyone – Sassy is very good friends with Peaches also coming to Last Hope – They love playing together in the outside play yard, like “girls’ night out”. Sassy is good with dogs ranging from Chi size to a Hound size… She is a staff favorite.”
I've found my forever home! Thank you!
