“Shelby” had everybody fooled. When she came to Last Hope in early January on a rescue transport from Kentucky, everyone thought she was an 8 week old Beagle puppy, possibly purebred, and that she would be Beagle size as an adult (approximately 30 lbs). But “Shelby” started to grow, and now at almost 4 months old, it appears that she is a leggy Hound mix who will be around 60 pounds when full grown. She is lovely…looks like she has dark tri-colored “paintbrush” markings.
Our “faux Beagle” is a delightful little lady, full of vim and vigor, who has already had some crate training skills, and would do well with a family who wants to experience the joy of raising a happy puppy.
I've found my forever home! Thank you!
