How do you spell “pup perfection”? Well, “S-H-E-P”, that’s how!
“Shep” comes to Last Hope on Long Island as a stray from a rural West Virginia county that has no shelter, just an animal control officer, that must put dogs/cats down right away unless the local rescue will foster them.
“Shep” is something special, and his WV rescuer knew that from the moment the animal control officer introduced her to him. This fluffy Shepherd mix is just about full grown. He is a year old, weighs 45 pounds, and gets along well with other dogs, cats, and kids. He is extremely outgoing, but still in a puppy-ish way. His WV foster Mom reports that he is housebroken too. “Shep” is doing his best to help another new Last Hope transport dog feel right at home with us at Last Hope…Mr. Congeniality, you betcha’? Looking for a fab family dog? Then come to Wantagh to meet our “Shep”.
I've found my forever home! Thank you!
