Courtney – ADOPTED!

Hi – I am Courtney – A 1 ½ – 2 Year Old Beautiful Calico Young Lady

Please read my story…

Many of the Last Hope volunteers feed feral colonies around the area on a daily basis. They often trap, neuter and release the feral cats – so the colonies don’t grow.

One of the volunteers was feeding a feral colony in Farmingdale and saw me hanging around. I was very hungry – but there was no way that the feral cats were going to share their food with me. I was not part of “their family. I was approachable – so needless to say, it was very easy for the volunteer to pick me up and take me home. It was apparent by my behavior that I was a house cat at one point, and probably dumped by my family – as they couldn’t care for me and “assumed” I would be okay. Well, it doesn’t work that way – I was not okay there – but I was rescued and now am on the journey of getting a family to love me.

The volunteer got me into the Last Hope program – where I was fostered at her home, tested, wormed, spayed, vaccinated and loved a lot. I have a clean bill of health.

I am a VERY friendly young lady – I can be cuddled and I flop over on the floor when you are talking to me or approaching me. I assume you are going to pet me – after all, I am a cat and it is all about me!!

I do get along with other pets, but prefer just one or two the most. I think I get nervous and relate to the feral colony when I see lots of cats around me.

I hope I get a home real soon. It has been a rough year for me – and I am still very young and want to run and play and have the security of my family and a home. Nothing would make me happier. I was told when I sleep I look like I am smiling and sometimes make little noises – like I am dreaming. I probably am – about having fun with my forever family

So – can you make my dreams come true???? Please …

Courtney
