Hello!  My name is Toby.  Looking at me – a gorgeous, longhaired soft orange and white 9-month old guy – you’d never believe that my life before I was rescued was sad and difficult.  I once had a home, with several other cats, in a small store.  Then, one day, the store’s owner left, abandoning all of us inside, with no food or water.  Very soon, a kind person who worked in the store next door realized that we were there.  She made sure that we were taken care of until we could get into the Last Hope program.  Wow!  Were we lucky!  After spending a little time with a foster mom, I was brought here to PetSmart, where I have a wonderful staff of volunteers who see to my every need.  I’m not complaining, but what I’d like the most is a real, forever home of my own.  How about coming by to spend some time with me?  I know you’ll love my sweetness and beauty, and I’ll entertain you with my playful personality.  And then…..well, maybe you’ll be the person to give me a home!
