Six year old “Tony” is a special needs Beagle from a Virginia shelter who tested positive for heartworm and Lyme disease. He arrived at Last Hope on Groundhogs Day. He did not see his shadow, but did meet many loving volunteers. Tony did receive his first heartworm treatment in Virginia, and his recovery is being monitored. Tony is on antibiotics for Lyme, and would so happy to continue his treatment while in a loving foster home.
