“Wishbone” has that animated Disney-dog look. He’s an adorable Jack Russell Terrier (JRT) with a gently wire-coat, a brown blaze over one eye, and cute freckles on the opposite ear. This little guy showed up as a stray at Hempstead Town Shelter before coming to Last Hope. Contrary to the typical JRT breed description, “Wishbone” is a mellow fellow. He loves to be carried around like a baby. “Wishbone” is about 5 years old, 15 pounds and does get along with other dogs.  Fans of the breed will just LOVE  our “Wishbone”.
