Zelda is a perky, purebred longhaired Dachshund, 1 ½ years old. Her coat is sparse at this time. She has some ear fringes but a short coat on her body…She comes to Last Home from Hempstead Shelter where she was picked up as a stray. She loves to sit on your lap and give kisses but in typical Doxie style, she tries to be bossy from a distance with other dogs by barking at them. With more dog socialization at Last Hope, she may become more accustomed to other dogs.
