We had the pleasure to adopt “Holly Jane” last month from Wantagh, NY .

Holly and her new brother (Jack) get along like two peas in a pod.  Holly also has another “brother” – her cat named Lance.

They all play and stay together.  Thanks to the Almost Home Pet Adoption Center and the Last Hope Animal Rescue (especially Barbara Cannova) for allowing us to let Holly Jane become part of our family.

Both organizations should be proud of their work and accomplishments to help find dogs and cats a proper home to live out the rest of their lives surrounded by loving and caring people and (sometimes) other pets.  Holly Jane could have been a shelter dog or a shelter kill dog.  She will now have a safe home, good friends and hopefully a long and healthy life thanks to both organizations.
