EMMY’s Emergency Ends the Best Possible Way, Thanks to John Debacker, her Guardian Angel. John got a call during the Last Hope TNR Clinic in Huntington that a cat was stuck on the median of Sunrise Hwy in Copiague.
He responded immediately , and spied the cat, actually a kitten, on the median under the underpass near Big Lots.
John was able to trap her & bring her to the TNR clinic where several of us were able to pet & hold her when he assessed her out of the trap.
EMMY was spayed, vaccinated, scanned for a chip at the clinic.
She is a beautiful & friendly, dilute tabbico about 4 months old.
She is recovering from her spay surgery at Last Hope in Wantagh, and will be ready for adoption by the weekend.
