Sometimes, you CAN get what you want & what you need.
Take MICK JAGGER, for instance.
He was a 3 year old Beagle , lost in a sea of Beagles at a crowded Kentucky shelter.
That shelter took on a hoarder case , and desperately needed kennel space.
So they asked neighboring Kentucky shelters, already filled with Beagles, to take some of their prior resident dogs.
The shelter happened to ask Bowling Green, our Kentucky transport partner, who asked Last Hope to take MICK JAGGER.
As soon as MICK JAGGER strutted through the Last Hope door, he transformed from a blend-in-with-the-crowd- Beagle to a ROCK STAR.
Hopefully he’ll learn soon that this MICK JAGGER will sing “Gimme Shelter” and his Long Island fans will heed his call.
