Will WILLIE find a home quickly?

WILLIE is 4 years old and weighs 34 pounds. He is handsome as he poses on his freckled legs.

Last Hope certainly wants him to do so. WILLIE is another Kentucky shelter Beagle refugee- transported to Last Hope ASAP because the flow of discarded Beagles never stops in poor, rural areas of Kentucky.

Good rabbit hunting hound dogs stay there until they can no longer hunt. Good breeding females remain in shoddy shelters until they no longer can produce enough Beagle puppies. In these areas, Beagles are possessions that make their owners $$. When the $$ falters, the Beagle becomes just another mouth to feed.

That’s when rescues like Last Hope step in. Our mission is to find the banished Beagles fabulous, pet homes. And we do.  Last Hope WILL find WILLIE a great home on Long Island or nearby.
