HELP!! “Last Hope Petfood Drive” to support “Nobody Starves on Long Island ” from October 12 to October 30.
Pet owners shouldn’t have to decide between nourishment for their furry best friends or putting food on the table for themselves.
Never has there been such a need to help fight the rising petfood insecurity faced by owners & caretakers.
Inflation, halted SNAP assistance, soaring gas & heating oil prices are turning pet
guardianship into a luxury.
We don’t want people forced to surrender beloved pets because they can’t afford to feed them.
This truth is tragic.
Therefore, Last Hope is holding a Petfood Drive to supply Gary Kaufman’s “‘Nobody Starves on LI” efforts.- Gary makes free petfood available to owners in need at various locations.
There is a dire need for CAT FOOD- canned & dry.
YES, dogfood- canned & kibble is desired also.
Please no pet treats.
All petfood can be dropped off at our Wantagh Adoption Center , 3300 Beltagh Ave, Wantagh, NY 11793.
We are storing your petfood gifts inside the big Meet & Greet room beginning Mon. Oct 12.
Thank You in advance.
Please spread the word to everyone you know!
Thanks.
