Abbey

“Abbey” had a special escort during the last leg of her journey from a Mississippi shelter. She was saved by a veterinarian friend of our clinic vet Dr. Miller. This cutie Chihuahua mix pup is only 9 pounds, and needed a front leg amputated after being hit by a car. She was picked up in Connecticut by a “Medic-mobile”…Dr. Miller (a veterinarian) and Last Hope volunteer Dr. Maquine (an internist) chauffered little “Abbey” to Last Hope in Wantagh.

“Abbey” is very sweet, and likes to be carried around
