“What’s it all about, Alfie?”

If only Alfie could answer that musical question. Then we would know how such a wonderful small brindle Terrier mix could wind up as an unclaimed stray in a Kentucky shelter before coming to Last Hope on Long Island.

Alfie has the look of a leggy Jack Russell or Rat Terrier, painted in brown brindle and white. He is about 5 years old, 23 pounds and a good boy around other dogs. Alfie gets along well with “Buck” a 3-legged pup who could pass for his baby brother from the same Kentucky Shelter. Alfie is loving and has great “family dog” potential.
