Bernie – ADOPTED!

Bernie8 (2)“Bernie” a muted, tri-colored Beagle was found as a stray near an Amityville nursing home. He was at Babylon Town Shelter but no one ever came to redeem this sweet boy. He looks as if someone bleached a Beagle. However, his teeth and playful energy suggest a youngster, probably about 4 years old. When he smiles, “Bernie” has dimples.

He was on his best behavior when his Shelter Link friends at Babylon Shelter took him to the Suffolk County Bar Association “Dog Day Agility Adoption Fair” but no one noticed him there because, for some reason, many of the rescues were parading their adoptable Beagles too.

Now he is at Last Hope in Wantagh- frequent home of “Beagle Mania”…”Bernie” loves people and is enthusiastic about being with other dogs. He wants to be near them. And he wants to be near you…in your kitchen, in your living room, in your bedroom, in your yard.  Get the picture?

“Bernie” wants to be YOUR friendly Beagle boy.
